I broke off 2 seed pods while weeding, they are about 3 & 4 weeks old. I would like to salvage them if at all possible. I remember reading 2 alternatives somewhere. 1 was to place the stem in water and 2 was to place the stems into a hole poked into a potato. Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

I've never done either, but would use the water, if it was me....Arlyn
You have to keep changing the water. If there is a good length of stem, stick it in the ground.
Thanks, I've tried the water. There are absolutely no stems at all to stick in the ground
