My Cousin's husband and grandson both eat raw potatoes.

I did when I was a kid...will still put a piece or two in my mouth when I'm peeling them!

Yesterday we were talking about what each of us was going wear to my nephews Christening. Most of us are going to the church then on to the party. My husband and sons were talking about shorts and the wives disagreed...my MIL chimed in and said " I don't think it's appropriate to wear shorts to church on Sunday but I think for the Christening it's okay since it's not a mass"

I see shorts regularly in church anymore. and imprinted tee shirts. (gasp, not me or my family!!)

Yes. Got more info now. Was not a general during the war, but later. Purple Heart, bronze star and other awards. Went on to serve in reserves and worked in transit.

Trying to keep my mouth shut about Paula Deen despite daily things on my Facebook Like this Unlike that yadda.
Someone linked the complaint filed in 2011 so after reading that I feel sorry for Paula being stuck with an a.....e brother, and never finding a way away from him. And how about the rest of the men in her family not sticking up for her and the empire created by HER initiative, on which her two sons have been handed permanent jobs.

There's always a scapegoat....I don't think she's racist, I think she's insensitive. I always felt Martha Stewart was a scapegoat for the 'good ole boys' network.......

sorry Robin I should have copied it somewhere cuz I knew it would be removed pretty fast. It was one of those "I'm in Nigeria with an inheritance but need your help to access it " scams, right down to the exact amount of dollars you usually see cited in articles about these scams. Hard to imagine there could be anybody left who hasn't heard of it by now!

Can't believe it was on Dave's Garden! Had a scam on my computer involving a couple I know from church.....asking money to be sent to Manila....yeah, like I would do that!

That is my job I have now. I will keep it till I get another one. They are putting out the ad to see what response they get as they cant keep anyone for more than 2-3 months at a time. They quit.

"average 5 -10 hrs a week" doesn't sounds at all like other things they say in the ad, does it...

No - it cant be done in 5 hours. Now that I know what I am doing I can do it in about 12. When the holidays come it will take about 20-25. Still 1 store got taken away as Shaws wanted their own floral back. I was doing approx. 35 hours per week & it was Perfect! 12 hours aint gonna cut it.

This was I think was Mothers Day Week with 2 stores

I swear sometimes it seems we live in N. Korea.

Won't be surprised if next week Metro gets a grant for greening of impervious surfaces, and spends 5000$ to replant them . Does no one in Metro have a brain? Or the nerve to use it?

Cant believe this. They took 1 store away & now ask in desperation for me to go help out my Supervisor as she cant do the stores herself.

I asked for the store and what do I get? A freaking phone call to go help and put my 1 store on the back burner. Good Grief.

Supervisor on salary driving 1-1/2 hours from home for 2 stores. Me driving say 33 minutes to go to 1 of the stores. I think this is very very wrong. Give me 1 of the stores & let me deal with it. GRRRR

Companies aren't what they used to be......glad I'm retired......
