Can you identify?

I need help to identify this iris. I thought it was a Japanese iris but after seeing it bloom I'm not sure. Thanks for any help.

When I see them next to each other, your's is different!

I don't think it is a Louisiana as I had Black Gamecock and it would only bloom maybe once out of every three years. I think our winters are too severe for LAs. Because of the foliage, I'm leaning towards a Spuria?

After comparing the foliage, I believe you are right, it is a LA. Must be a newer hardier variety to make it in zone 5, Would you be interested in trading for comparison purposes? 30" tall.
