ENTERTAINMENT #14
What an unusual picture- can you imagine putting a cig in a toddlers mouth in this day and age???!!!?? thanks for the new thread.
I cant even imagine a chicken that big.The kid must be 3 years old.
ha yeah I had to zoom in, it looked unbelievable so what's that like a fifteen pound chicken??? haha
Its a really old photo,my guess early 1900's Even in the 40's I remember chickens that could feed a family of five at one meal
yeah it took 3 hours to soften it up I bet.. LOL
Just watched a real nice feel-good movie, Holes. Recommend it.
Just watched Sahara on amazon prime, loved it! nice clean action movie with some laughable moments thrown in...and Matthew McConaughey, what's to complain about?
hadn't heard of it but we'll put it on the list, thx Jen
Scary....so young
WHAT??? NO!!
I know, my age
Younger than me
debi...you get the fun of hearing people say

He was a good guy. Did lots for vets.

Discount??
he was considered one of the catches in school.. uh.. not so much now.. LOL
Well this just MIGHT have been a factor...

Yup lifestyle.
Pretty sad that someone can drink like that in front of their 13 yr old kid.
Was thinking the same thing.
Certainly didn't help!
Watched Les Mis tonight.
Long and mostly sad.
Anne H big song was excellent Russell Crowe not much of a voice. Glad i saw it but will never feel urge to see again.
Saw it on stage years ago...sounds like I won't miss anything...
Watched Jack the Giant Slayer last night with the girlies, pretty good. Cute twist on the story!
My friend's rant and I totally agree!!!!
If the Food Network is going to fire Paula Deen then they also need to fire Chef Malto Mario because he had to pay out $6 million. They should also fire Anne Burrell who was sued for sexual discrimination; they would also need to fire CHEF CAT CORA WHO WAS ARRESTED FOR DUI FOR HAVING A BLOOD ALCOHOL 3 TIMES THE LEGAL LIMIT AND SCREAMED PROFANITIES AT PEOPLE. DINNER IMPOSSIBLES ROBERT IRVINE WAS CAUGHT LYING ABOUT HIS BACKGROUND CLAIMING HE USED TO COOK FOR THE ROYAL FAMILY; IRON CHEF BOBBY FLAY WAS ALSO SUED AND SETTLED FOR ALMOST $1 MILLION BECAUSE HE TOO KEPT TIPS FROM HIS EMPLOYEES and cheated on both his wives, IRON CHEF MORIMOTO WAS ALSO SUED FOR SKIMMING TIPS AND WAGES FROM HIS EMPLOYEES; Martha Stewart went to jail for insider trading; FOOD NETWORK CHEF GEOFFREY ZAKARIAN FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY TO AVOID A LAWSUIT - 152 OF HIS DISGRUNTLED WORKERS SUED HIM; Chef Juan Carlos Cruz who hired a homeless man to kill his wife; INA ROSENGARTEN, THE BAREFOOT CONTESSA REFUSED TO MEET WITH A CHILD WHO WAS DYING OF CANCER; Jeff Frugal Gourmet Smith sexually abused men, SO I GUESS THAT MEANS THE FOOD NETWORK IS GOING TO FIRE ALL OF THESE PEOPLE TOO, RIGHT? PROBABLY NOT. SO WHY SINGLE OUT MISS PAULA FOR THIS? NONE OF US ARE PERFECT AND I'M SURE THE PEOPLE WHO FIRED MISS PAULA ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN DEMONS
And many others on other networks. Selective outrage at work as usual.
Thanks for the facts- not surprising.
i really pay no attention to these 'news items' cuz they mean so little in the grand scheme.
Martha has survived her legal problems fine and so will Paula.
I had to look up what she did, I don't pay attention to that stuff either
Just watched The Impossible. Gripping!
Funny coincidence. We watched Mission Impossible! Had never seen it. Not bad. Quite far-fetched, if course.
Just finished Wizard of Oz, such a classic, amazing I remember the words to all the songs
Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn't already have...
That just made my day Victor!
Hee hee!
We also watched Minority Report the other night. Pretty good! Relevant these days.
Finally saw two great movies. Bucket List and Slumdog Millionaire.
Just saw Despicable Me 2...Funny!
