Does anyone know what is causing this. It is on all 4 of my roses. The flowers don't seem to be affected (yet), only the leaves. Thanks!
Rose Problem on Leaves
Looks like leaf miners to me.
I think it is one of the skeletonizing insects at a very early stage, when they are so small they are eating only one surface of the leaf.
Look up Rose Slug, Lace Bug (not lacewing), and Sawflies for a start.
Look for the pest hiding on the under side of the leaf through the day. Many of them come out at night, so go out with a flashlight.
The adults of many of these can fly, so you are not likely to find them.
