In. No brainer.

I'll take anything. I have blue mouse ears, liberty, independence, t-rex and empress wu (one year old not very impressive, i guess it takes time and optimal conditions), hush puppies and two or three I can't remember the names of right away.

I look forward to swapping and shopping for new hostas. :) Such a good reason to go on a spree just have to make sure its big enough for a division.

Tom Schmid was my favorite from last year.

Rhinebeck, NY

Just moved into a new home that has a lot of very mature hostas desperate for dividing.
Wish I knew what they are, then I could participate here.
Maybe in a few years, when my own named varieties are big enough!
Have a great time with this, all!

Royal Oak, MI(Zone 6a)

Count me in again! Love these annual hosta swaps!=) I'm still on a shiny, yellow, or ruffled kick this year.
My have list: http://davesgarden.com/community/journals/vbc/Eleven/96523/

Love that Striptease in your blue basin. It would look real good with Blue Wedgewood for contrast.

Albany, NY(Zone 5a)

Hahaha!!! You are right! And if it weren't for CRS I would have them next to each other for sure! Hahaha remind me Saturday to dig some for our swap buddies! :) I better write this on my hand!!

Also, how lucky is Mittsy that her swap partner comes and weeds for her?! Hahaha I wish more if you guys lived nearby!!! :) the only downfall is I got so many plants from her that I have to go but all new ones to send her! :)

Knollwood, TX

I'd love to do this... I had to destroy all but a couple of hostas (that were luckily in pots) last year (destroyed at least a dozen plants) and abandon that bed for hostas b/c of HVX, and am starting from scratch... so sad...

My newly purchased ones are Minuteman, Patriot, and Halcyon... my new June isn't ready to split, I don't think... :(

Can't wait to get a new variety... I was traumatized to have to let go of all my babies.

Lori in TX

Hometown, IL(Zone 5a)

All I have is 'Hacksaw' and 'blue cadet'. Sorry, but I'm just starting my Hosta garden.
I would like small- medium small Hostas- I have a very small bed. Any color would do. Any leaf shape is OK. Plain green would be great- nothing fancy. Common ones are fine, because I probably don't have them anyway.

Dacula, GA(Zone 7b)

I'm in too. This is so much fun. Here is a link to my google drive hosta list. I don't mind having duplicates. Always room for more hostas.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AophxrIecd_jdE1XMW5qTTZpT0VaWlRyN2FYYjc0SkE#gid=0

Please let me know if you have a problem with the link.

Thanks,

Madison, WI(Zone 5a)

I just stumbled upon this swap, and would like to get in on it. I think I still am within the deadline.

My have list
http://davesgarden.com/community/trading/list.php?list=have&member=busy_gardener&offset=80

My want list:
Any mini or small hosta that I don't have, especially Woodland Elf (a woodland elf called a mouse ate mine this past winter) and Mouse Trap. I don't have much room for any more large hostas, but might be able to find room.

Thanks ZZ for coordinating this swap. I know it's a lot of work, but we appreciate it.

Karen

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

ME ME....dang I barely made it but I made it.

Royal Oak, MI(Zone 6a)

I'm so excited that I keep checking DG every few hours to see if we have any updates =) And I know it would probably take Lelan a couple days to get us all randomized and stuff. I just want an excuse to go hosta window shopping... even though I already added an extra hosta to my recent order in plans to giving it to my as yet unannounced buddy.

Oquawka, IL(Zone 5a)

Has everybody sent him the info that he requested in the first post? I forgot to and after I sent my info my name was listed on the member list.

Rose

Madison, WI(Zone 5a)

I sent my information right after I responded to this thread, but since it was the weekend (and Father's Day also) I didn't expect to hear anything until today. I hope to hear something soon.

Willamette Valley-OS, OR(Zone 8a)

I am Unfortunately Running Late on Getting Names Sent Out.
Too Many Hostaholics and Not Enough Time to Get Everyone in Order.
I am Shooting for Tomorrow (Tuesday 6/18) in the Afternoon for Sending Everyone Their Names.
and...
"Thank You" UMD-Terp for the Links to the New Posting.
It is Greatly Appreciated.
I Did Not Even Get to Send Out a Link via D-Mail to All Past Participants.
Life is Getting in the Way of My Hosta Addiction.

Lelan.

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

Take a breath, life happens, we all know it. Whenever you can get it done is fine with us.

Madison, WI(Zone 5a)

I'm on the list, yeah! I can't wait.

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

For those of you who do not have a large Hosta collection you might like to try this tip that has worked for me. Go to a reputable nursery grower and buy a large specimen plant of a variety that you would like to have. I would stay away from the big box stores as you could get a plant with the Hosta virus. Divide it, and either pot it up or put it in several spots in your garden. Water it well, mulch and try to protect it from slugs and snails. Then in the fall (if there is another Hosta swap then) you'll be able to participate. If not fall, then surely, next year. It is only necessary to send one nice plant. We only send more because we have been doing this for awhile and like to share our gardens. Lelan runs a wonderful swap as my gardens show.

Central, MD(Zone 7a)

That's a great point mittsy. As one of those people I would like to point that out that I use this opportunity to go out and shop for hostas. I only do it once or twice a year and I make sure to buy ones that I can split immediately. One for you, one for me.

Royal Oak, MI(Zone 6a)

Good info, mittsy and UMD. Definitely don't feel forced/compelled/guilted/whatever to send more than you can. Last year I felt lucky enough to find a nice 'June' for a low price that I added to the couple of divisions I sent. I think I divided a new to me hosta the year before.

Central, MD(Zone 7a)

I can't speak for anybody else but I'm in no hurry. If we wanted to wait a few weeks or even until Fall I'd certainly be ok with that. It would give me more time to drive to this little gem, http://thehostahideaway.com/ , which is 2 hours away.

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

I'd sure enjoy a shopping trip to that link.

Wow... Lovely. I would love to visit there too.

Albany, NY(Zone 5a)

I don't mind waiting either! All my swap plants are potted up nicely, so they aren't going anywhere. :) gives me time to buy more!!!:)

Same here. I would love to shop some more...lol

Willamette Valley-OS, OR(Zone 8a)

OK...I Know You are All Waiting.
I am Going to Extend the Mailing Until the 8th of July.
Usually Over the 4th and the Weekends Before and After...
Many...Nurseries...Hosta Farms and Internet Hosta Sites Have BIG Sales.
So You All Have Another Week to Look.

I am Still Waiting for a Few Individuals to Send Me Their Addresses to My D-Mail.
No Matter What...
Tomorrow, Wednesday June 19th...PROMISE...
All Names Will be Sent Out
and...
If You Do Not Send Me Your Information...
I'm Sorry But You Will Have to Wait Until the Next Swap to Participate.

Lelan.

Great!!!
