Can anyone identify this plant?

Rhinebeck, NY

I photoed this in a public park in Causeway Bay, HK.
Can anyone help me identify it?

I've seen it in Rockledge Gardens nursery in Florida, I think they call it an African iris.

Thanks, Mittsy, I'll check that out.

Jim, I had what I think you saw just bloom for us that was a gift from another DG gardener a few years back. It was the first time it ever bloomed. Pretty thing. . We keep it in the GH in the winter. It grows new plants like a spider plant does. Patti

Patti, that's it! If you ever have a spare plantlet, I'd love to swap it for something you want.
I have LOTS of heirloom tomato and pepper seeds.
Maybe I have other things that would interest you.
Best, Jim
