What is this?

Hello, Hosta friends! Just got back from DD's graduation in Washington, DC and growing in a butterfly garden beside a museum at the Smithsonian was this unusual example of our favorite plant. Has anyone seen anything like this before? It is a med-large plant and I love the totally random variegation and had to be restrained from digging it up and stashing it in my tote bag to bring home. What are your thoughts? The pictures are from the back and the front.

Someone in another forum suggested Stained Glass. Has anybody got experience with this hosta? Have they had this experience with this hosta?

Just got an email back from Tony Avent. His opinion is that it is an Earth Angel which is sporting. Depressingly, he also added that they toss out hundreds of hosta sports every year. I wish this were the real thing and I could get one!! No word yet from the plant curator at the Smithsonian.
