Weather In Your Garden #132

We have had rain for the last 3 days but we sure did need it. Hoping to get one dry day to mow the lawn, it grew 4 " with this wet weather. :)

Oooh...a rainbow...nice way to start the day....57 here & foggy....headed toward 90 with afternoon T-storms once again. Bad T-storm hit Goshen after all...lots of hail, no power. Here, the storm hit at 4 am.......rain came down pretty hard. No hail, just a lot of lightning.

HUMID and cloudy 74° right now

I'll love looking at the rainbow. Bigger storms are preticted in this area from 2-9 pm.The overnight rains have been pretty genlte here as far as I know.

3/4" of rain overnight with thunder. Garden needed it but I don't like feeling damp.

strange day.. was cloudy & chilly almost up to lunchtime.. then someone turned the oven on.. LOL

Never got over 75 here, cloudy & sprinkly.....

The rain is more in the central and western part of MA

It's 48 here this morning, heat came on again...damp and cool. Hoping we will reach the 70's today like the weatherman said but im not holding my breath. :(

54° & a mist--don't know if the water is hitting the ground. Not going over 60.

Got one short burst of rain a short while ago, but nothing going on now. Currently 61 with wind out of south at 17 with much higher gusts and humidity at 90%. We need the rain especially since I planted so many annuals today and didn't water them in as I was expecting rain.

Cloudy, light rain now.....hopefully just a few showers today...high of 62. Son & family are headed to RI for the holiday weekend, I passed.

Another quarter inch of rain last night. I hope that it clears for the weekend.

Surprised it only measured .52 but it very misty and cool 65°

We had mostly light rain all night with some heavy periods around 4 o'clock so we have gotten about an inch in the last 24 hours. Still raining, but thankfully it is a steady gentle rain that isn't destroying all our newly planted annuals. Wind is out of the south at 20 with higher gusts, but not as strong as it was in the middle of the night when it was blowing at least 30. Cool here too at 60 now. After 3 very hard days in the garden, I am enjoying a day or two inside. Patti
