Found this sold and had to buy it! I counted at least 9 heads on the same stalk, has to be a record for this species! I took 2 photos of it partially opened (front and back) so you can count each head, and one nearly fully bloomed, you can see 2 layers of petals its huge!
This is called fasciation, does make for an interesting look! The other buds will probably be normal.
I never saw one with so many, I know finding 2 on one stalk is common in these, but 9 is beyond belief! :)
Keith, do you know anything about African daisies. They are purple, with deep purple centers. Will they come up from seed or how are they started? Alda
