Hi all,
How far apart should direct sown seeds be planted in a flower pot? Seed packets only tell you how far apart to plant seeds and thin seedlings when planting outside in a garden. Example - for direct sowing in the garden, sow seeds 2 inches apart and thin to 8 inches apart. In a flowerpot should the distance be half? For example - if the package says thin seedlings to 8 inches apart, should the seedlings be 4 inches apart in a flowerpot? Any info would be appreciated.
Planting annual flower seeds in flowerpots?
That would seem reasonable.
I tend to sow seeds thicker into pots.
You can always thin later.
