I got a new African violet. The leaves are very healthy and robust, I saw tiny buds when I got it, the stems of them started growing and then the tiny buds opened to reveal flowers that weren't developed and rotted within days, yet the leaves remain perfectly healthy and growing everyday. The plant is rather small so a young one.
Is the plant sick, do AV develop "mock" aka "underdeveloped" flowers at a young age, eventually getting normal sized flowers as they mature a little?

It could be any number of things.Anything from insects to a cultre change.Examine them very carefully.
