Filling cracks and flaws in primed plywood

Dolan Springs, AZ(Zone 9a)

We are building our own home, and since I HATE drywall, we have decided to use a/c grade plywood on the interior walls. I have primed the wood for the bathroom and kitchen already, but didn't consider that wood filler might not adhere to the primer. Is that something I can use where moisture is going to be high, or is there a better product?
Thanks,
Julia
