I was a bit abusive with my Lakeside Paisley Print

Oquawka, IL(Zone 5a)

While checking the ground for growth I accidentally knocked the pip off of the crown. Did I kill it, or will it come back?

It will probably come back. Might even put forth more than one eye. Yours is doing better than mine which just curled up its toes and died last year.

I would just keep the eye clear from debris so it gets sun and doesn't get covered up and rot. It should grow back.

Thanks! I guess I'd better learn to be more patient!

Rose, I tried to stay out of my hosta beds this year until everything is showing. I am always stomping on them by mistake and then hating myself for it.

That's my Lakeside Paisley Print to the left. It is so pretty emerging!

I wish I had the patience to wait until things come up, but I usually don't! I do have another, so if this one doesn't return I won't have to buy another. But, it would be great if it does come back. I don't have a problem having two in my gardens! And, I agree that your L. Paisley Print is very pretty coming up!
