frog id

Decatur, GA

Am an amphibian illiterate. Well I can tell a frog from a skink.. anyway I have this guy hanging around my pond the past week or so. He is considerably larger than the usual 'green frogs' the come and go but doesn't seem quite big enough to be a bull frog.
His body is about 3-31/2 inches long. He is btw in the water skimmer basket.
Thanks, Helen

Could be duckmother. The bull and green frogs look a like. This guy was bigger thought so that is why I suspect it was a bull frog. But he is gone now :-( .

Awww too bad. But we have tree frogs that sleep (and lay eggs) in our hot tub every spring. So, you may have another one sometime.
