Bleaching Tubers

Might have Borers , What is any advice on Bleach dipping? formula ?

check out the leaves. If you see borer presence squash them. It is early in the season.

I use 10 Parts water to 1 part bleach. I dip when I divide before I replant or give away. I do not bleach for borers. I have never had borer problems. I have always heard what IrisMA has said, squash them in place before they can get down to the root. Good luck!

Some people are using Merit for borer. We really don't care to do that because of the honey bees. One treatment might be ok, especially if near shrubs. the borer moths hand out there.

I use a Bayer product with Imidiclid. Iris Gape Crush- Sorenson 2000
