plant ID please

For an ID, the Plant Identification forum gets at least 100 times as many viewers and will produce quicker results. For ID purposes a close-up of the flowers and another of the foliage is most helpful. Difficult to ID from this distance. Your description of the leaves seems to eliminate Bidens and Coreopsis as possibilities.
