Spring Growth - 2013

Here's a couple pictures of my plants waking up.
Two are ahead of all the rest. The acer palmatum 'First Ghost' and another locally named 'Coral Morn'.

I love the Koto No Ito. I have one here too - looks exactly like yours does right now too.

glad to see some spring growth pictures! - still white here with 8-12" coming tonight through tomorrow.

beautiful picture of koto-no-ito and of the flowers on first ghost - do not remember flowers on the one here and will have to keep them in mind.

I bare sango kaku would be gorgeous in show like that. Got a pic of yours?

in the second picture the tree to the left is the Sango Kaku. here are a couple other shots from this winter of the two i have.

Wish I could remember the name of this. It's a very upright grower, and the close up is a good picture of the new growth. The leaves are tiny.

First Ghost leafed out showing proper color and the second pic is my new Attaryi

first ghost always looks great in the spring! moved mine last year for more protection from the sun hope is does well through the summer. attaryi is a keeper got a large one last year, it is nicer than acontifolium in my opinion.

Things are fine here in zone8 so far.

The Alpenweiss looks like one I might have to add to my own garden. Thanks for sharing.

I have never seen red tips on sango here - strange - looks cool though
