All blocks to be received by 9/30/2013. Please sign your block on the front discreetly along a seam, mail DIRECTLY to the other participants. All should have received thier list of addresses and summary of preferences. ALL of you will NOT be mailing out to the particpants that are only in for 6. Don't worry, I'll let everybody know EXACTLY who/ and how it will work. See your list, if you still have questions about WHO you send to, Dmail me. If it's clarifcation regarding another's preferences, ASK on the thread, it will be helpful to all of us.
The block can be pieced, applique... yatta yatta. Please make sure the fabric is pre-washed, this will be a lot of work to have it ruined by something bleeding or shrinking! PLEASE REMEMBER TO CUT THE SELVAGES OFF YOUR YARDAGE before cutting fabric for quilt blocks. The blocks will be 12.5 x 12.5 (UNLESS the person has stated "Any size") so that when they are sewn into quilt or wall hanging etc they finish at 12 inches x 12 inches. Your block does NOT have to have a bird in it, it does have to have a birdhouse!
The backgrounds are to be cream/ off white unless it is stated by preference they would also accept or prefer light blue. Please state the color of your houses if it matters to you.
