Afternoon everyone just stopping by to say Hi & see how everyone is doing on their easter basket I Been working on mine & Hope my partner will enjoy :)

Hope we can find a few more to join us :) Did I tell ya it is ok to send Seeds or Bulbs , little early for plants yet but a few spring time bulbs are nice .
I have mine about done but i have to pick up a few things from town yet :)

I hope i didn't scare anyone off by putting up a gift card for the best basket that is not what this is about
& I Don't want anyone to be left out of a fun or feel they cannot afford to do this swap . its not about being best .
so please forgive me , I feel i need to remove the offer of the gift card & Just want us to enjoy sharing with our partner s.

So I Hope others will also come join us & just enjoy the Fun

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Removing the "incentive" is a good idea. I doubt anyone joined for "the card!"

in Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Sharing Easter will be fun.

I would have joined anyhow.

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Everyone has chosen Easter so far, haven't they? Having an extra incentive didn't come into play when I put my name in the hat. I just want to share what I can with my Buddy. You're always a gracious hostess, Susie.

I have an idea in mind, stopped at JoAnn's Thursday for supplies and came out empty handed. I am still determined to follow though with what I want to create, even if it means having to order supplies online. Living in the boonies has it's perks and pitfalls.

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Boy I hear ya Fruity! I live an more than 1/2 hour from "anywhere" that you can pick up "anything"!! I am living in a "town" of 7,000 and the good news is I live less than a mile from work. The bad news there isn't much here, but at least it is only an hour from where I call "home". My Dad, 3 of sons and Sis all live within an hour of me.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

GM & Thank you all after ALLOT of thought I Didn't what it to have others feel left out if they felt they had to be Bribed to play that is not what i was doing just wanted to have a fun swap that we always have :) so i wanted to say just send what you can for the friendship.

Cutlerville, MI

Hi everyone! I would love both...if anyone else wants St Patty's day:) I have lots of fun stuff in mind...so excited to be back to spring swapping again! Thanks everyone, and have a great week!

Mountain View, CA(Zone 9b)

Hi, all.
Just wanted to let you know I'm considering joining, but can't commit quite yet. Need to finish another project first :)
Susie, the contest sounded fun, but I understand your reasons for deciding to remove it.
Michelle

I am trying to figure out what I will make. I had the greatest idea, just not sure it will work into my ability to make....sigh.

It is hard to have a big vision and slow sloppy hands.. LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Kris, you have never failed us yet! Love everything you send out, no matter what swap!

Just to busy right now and hands are hurting from moving, getting plants situated, and more moving. I can see what I want to make in my minds eye.. just translating it is going to be a challenge right now.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

Kris you always make nice decor but if its easier to buy simple that is ok also this is not a contest & that was what it sounded like to me after Allot of thought & Is why I had to change it so we can all just have fun with this :) Keep it simple with even just a painted Clay pot & a couple BULBS or seeds :)) Just be sure to pack well with bubble wrap :) clay pots make very nice Baskets .
Easter WREATH is cute . we all have faith in you Kris .
well icy snowy day so just going to go play with a few crafts :) Ya all have a great day

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

We have a new swap open, come and check it out.

awful quiet here. Is every body out hunting eggs? Better have on a wet suit and/or snorkel gear

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

Sorry Under the weather here a bit But I have my Easter bunny working on it :)
hope we can get a few more to join us . got to get off here have company coming over today
ya all have a safe weekend

I have helpers here,, but we are not working on bunny stuff....

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I have my eggs and basket just about done, waiting on a name!

(Crystal) Waverly, AL

I am wondering what kind of box I can use. If I use a USPS flat rate box, I can get more stuff in for the postage. On the other hand, Those boxes are not tall enough to accommodate a basket handle.

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

I'm in the "wheels turning" stage ... you know, thinking!

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

Evening all Ladies they have Baskets without handles that make very nice baskets & Can be used yr round:) the basket can be made into very nice center pieces also . & they can fit into Med flat rate or in the
reg Priority boxes witch is sometimes cheaper then flat rate .

also small Easter Wreaths are also nice But i just would like for you all to Do what you can do :)
I love this Holiday
