plant protein nitrogen

Provo, UT(Zone 5a)

ive seen alittle discussion on this in various forums..
im reading more and more on products that are out on a
plant protein nitrogen..with a much higher N level.. mostly
in 14-18% range.. if there is that much N in there..thats a pretty
good N level..depending on what u r fertilizing..and plants needs..
i havent bought any..yet.. so.. anyone know much on these products?
they are "suppose" to be fast uptake in plants..and to be used in conjunction
with slow release N..
hope to see some discussion..
much thanks..
cold here.. still... sigh

Can you link me to a discussion here at Dave's, or to a site with details on the product?
