Euphorbia pubentissima? - South Central Arkansas

Last August, I found a plant that is either Euphorbia pubentissima (False Flowering Spurge), or E. corollata (Flowering Spurge).

The plant was 12.5 inches tall. The stem had scraggly, spreading hairs and had 24 nodes below the inflorescence. Leaves had short petioles. Upper leaves were mostly spreading, and lower leaves were reflexed downward. The largest flower was 0.175 inch across, and petals were nearly circular in shape.

We are out of the expected range for E. pubentissima, but that species seems to be the best match. Can you determine species?
