My homemade palm wax candles are drying rough and bumpy

What am I doing wrong? I heat my pots before I pour. I have melted the wax to 180,190 and 210 degrees Fahrenheit. I am using 100% citronella oil. I have used 1oz/lb and 1.5oz/pound. I cover the pots with an oven mitt while cooling and they all come out the same. I am using Indonesian Palm Wax/Stearin if that changes anything, but I'm not getting these beautiful crystallized or even smooth candles that I am seeing online. Can someone help me?
