I am having the hardest time trying to tag my photos, I know most of it is caused by ignorance on plant names, but I looked this up in several locations and just can't seem to get it. This is a Caladium planted from a mixed pack so I don't know its variety.
Having trouble tagging Araceae with no variety known.
I was working on a showcase album and had similar problems. I punched in the name of a really unusual Daylily I have called Jesters Hat. ( in the common name It was sold to me as )
When I went to tag it and my first try tagging,...All the Serious "Daylily only enthusiasts" cultivars came up!
I was not able to just say "Daylily, 'Jesters Hat'." It would not except even plain "Daylily". (unless I chose from the hourdes of choices )
I was bound not to research that Daylily for an answer, since I am not a specialist, and only have a few special beauties.
I ended up staying simple and said something in caption like, "Flowers around a birdbath".
I no longer have an album.
David,
Just select Daylily, Hemerocallis. Then it will show no variety and you can just type in "Jesters Hat" in the comment section. I don't get the "no variety" option.
Forgot to mention there is a bug in the daylily portion, see post . It just list up to the "D"s.
