My Boston Flower Show entries

Oviedo, FL(Zone 9b)

The Boston Flower Show starts in March. The theme is "Seeds of Change" . I am about to plant some flower and vegetable seeds so that I can enter them in the propagation classes this year. I am going to try nasturtiums, marigolds and another flower, to be named this afternoon at the garden center. I will also be planting leaf lettuce and chard and I have sent away for some purple edible podded peas. I hope they get here soon. I am not usually into seed starting, but I think this will be fun!

There is a particular one that I absolutely love.

Good luck, Martha!

Yep any nasturtium. Just that if you are going to enter it in the flowering plant section of the seed category, it has to be in bud and/or bloom as of the opening of the show. You could enter a variegated one in a foliage only category. It can be any flowering plant. Bulbs have their own category. Just started from seed.
