Oh, gosh I'm sorry to confuse you..lol. What I meant on the veronicastrum is it's also another tall us. native, the flowers are very similar to Veronica spicata, but veronicastrum is 48+ tall. That particular Veronica is probably the tallest that I have found, (hasn't been on the market as a plant yet, but got seed from T&M seeds more than 10 years ago and now is not even available), have some if you wanna try.

And yes That's the veronia I have....lol. Like I say, I'll collect seed this summer.

Thank you !!! Always kind and generous you are... and polite with a good sense of humor too!!!!! and I want to try ... We can work out the details ,
Enjoying^_^

Vernonia is intriguing, it was available in a coop last year but I didn't do it. Hmmm... Any pics?

From the look of the plants there, that must be a" high and dry setting"
Thanks for pics "LOVE EM"!!!!!

Yes, it's a sloping rock wall. But the veronicastrum isn't fussy. I also have it on the flat in richer soil, with Hydrangeas

Pam...remind me about your veronicastrum come spring....we might have to do some trading. I'm thinking I have the blue and the pink, new and didn't bloom last summer cuz of the drought tho...
