I would like to lower the pH of the water I use for my indoor herb plants (basil, thyme, oregano), and I've gotten suggestions to use products such as PH Down. But I wonder if it's possible to install a water filter on my tap that can lower the pH. Does anyone know anything about doing this? Brita Filters, reverse osmosis, etc? Thanks for any thoughts.
Can a water filter be used to change pH of water?
They make the water filtered- not always good- tho water tastes sweeter, would have to be ready to change a LOT of filters. Doesn't fertilizer also change the water/soil ph?
We do go buy our drinking water at the house, by the 5 gal jugs- I don't know anything abt what you are attempting to do. I wish you luck
