I got these from my cousin who raises them..too busy eating to pose for pics..lol..they are lined up in a row like in middle of the pic..
My 3 Lavendar Orpingtons
They are pretty. If I get orps I want that color. Do they lay well?
Mine are between 5-6 mons old right now. All my Orps lay well even during my winters here.
I have about decided on welsummers and Easter eggers. I'd like to eventually breed for olive eggers. But I may get a few orpingtons for winter eggs. And I sure prefer the lavender.
Aren't the lavenders still pretty rare?
Yes depending on the breeders. My cousin is picky who she sells to..I will get more babies this spring !!! Yea!!
