I grew some Datura this year and was wondering how to make it live through the winter here in Austin. Our ground doesn't freeze, so would I just cut it back and mulch or what. Does anybody know?
Also collected a lot of seed from white and double purple, should I plant it now, or wait until spring?
Over wintering in Texas..........
Morgan, I planted seeds in pots in my greenhouse last November. The plants were healthy and about 15" tall by spring. I have mine in pots, so don't know about the overwintering.
The ones in the ground croaked....but my one in a pot on the back porch has come back beautifully!
Thanks.....I'm learning. :-)
