Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

Nice huge clay pots in video from India. And interesting idea.

Great idea for the home gardener.

Thanks so much, Sally. I transmitted the info onto a Word doc. and included the measurement conversions, 'cause I'm baaad at math! Now, to find nice big pots like that, affordable .... :)

Charlotte, NC(Zone 7b)

Very interesting idea.

We collect all our kitchen scraps and put them in a compost bin. Earthworms breed by the thousands in there!

That's what I do as well, but it wouldn't hurt to have a system on my back deck. It usually ends up as its own little world out there, and readily-at-hand compost would be handy!
I couldn't find any pots like that anyway online (except in India - not!), so I'll just satisfy my weird pot yearning with some ollas. I've found those in Virginia!!

Virginia Beach, VA

I would love to have earthen ware to compost but it would cost a fortune to buy them here!!!

They sure are pretty to put in my yard with flowers.

Belle
