can anyone tell me what is the ID of a velvety black moth with yellow spots? The caterpillars were eating my green beans and I let one grow in a jar. It hatched out the black moth above. No pictures, because I did not have sense to take one. I let it go, and hope I am not covered up with caterpillars next year. Luciee {;^)

Thanks, Moon. I have looked at a number of them but have not found my moth yet. The catterpillars were eating on the bean leaves and rolling the edge over themselves when they got ready to pupate. I got one of the leaves and some other leaves for food, put them in a jar and forgot about them. The velvet black moth with the round yellow spots hatched out. I did not think to get a picture. I let it go. Luciee {;^)
