Greetings, all -
I just got forwarded an email about a plant sale at the Historic Oakland Cemetery. From the email:
Our nursery is overflowing with plants and we don’t have homes for them all. We have large blocks of some and only one of others, but there are treasures throughout. Come see what would be perfect in your garden and help Oakland’s garden grow at the same time. Here’s a small sampling of what will be available:
Heirloom and Earthkind roses varieties
Iris albicans, I. pallid and various colors of heirloom bearded iris
‘Fireworks’ goldenrod
Several colors of garden and Korean mums
Double Confederate Rose
Paper Bark Maple
Bald Cypress
For directions, visit www.oaklandcemetery.com . Email landscapeoakland@gmail.com with questions.
Saturday is also the 13th Annual Trees Atlanta Tree Sale & Festival. Visit http://treesatlanta.org/event/13th-annual-trees-atlanta-tree-sale-and-festival/ for more info.
I can't make it, but I hope someone else can!
Two more plant sales on Saturday 10/13 in Atlanta
Wow, thanks, I'd forgotten about the Trees Atlanta sale. I'll try to make it. I also like the Native Plant Garden at Ga Perimeter College. They also sell plants and have a lecture series. I've included a link below.
