Quick Fire is very nice

I have had QF for a few years but it is just this season that I realize it really is a very good hydrangea. It blooms early and these flowers last all summer now turning an interesting but still appealing 'dirty pink'. It seems to be forgiving of indiscriminate pruning as it blooms on new wood and so allows one to shape it for its particular location in the garden.

That's great to read since I just bought one in July and haven't planted it yet.
