This is Madame Julia Correvon clematis.
Yellow spots on many of the older leaves. Some new growth which doesn't show spots. Potted in a whiskey barrel last year. Potted in peat moss, perlite, pine fines, vermiculite with some controlled release Osmocote. I did keep watered well. I used a little Tomato Tone on it about 3 weeks ago. Hmmm... It bloomed and looked beautiful all season until these spots showed up. Don't have a clue what's wrong with it...
The bottom pic is when it looked nice and the first is just yesterday pic.

Any ideas about what the problem is with my clem? Pics
When I Googled "yellow spots on clematis leaves" I got this, which may or may not be your problem:

Are the newest leaves spotted or solid green?
It's a beautiful plant so I hope the issue is not fatal and I doubt that will be the case. It might even be the heat though my ESP tells me it isn't.
The newest leaves are solid green. I hope it'll be ok. She's such a lovely clemmy.
Glad to hear the new leaves are green. She is lovely. Please keep us advised as to how it works out for you and the clem.
