The leaves on my Asian Pear tree started to turn brown a few weeks ago. It seemed to spread from leaf to leaf. It caused the fruit to shrivel and brown, and the branches are now turning dark brown as well. I can't find any bugs on any part of the tree, and it has almost no leaves left now. This all happened over a few weeks. It started happening just after a huge two-day wind storm, and the tree was wrapped (maybe too tightly) in bird netting at the time. I removed the netting to see if I could save something on the tree. Any ideas?
Asian Pear Tree problem
Could be other things too, but the symptoms seem consistent with fireblight, and pears are in a family that's susceptible. Even if it's not fireblight, it looks like some kind of disease so I don't think that the wind or the bird netting had anything to do with it.
Here's some info on fireblight:

I tried to post a reply before but I guess it didn't work. Thank you for the feedback, it looks exactly like fireblight. I am treating the tree according to the info in the links you provided, thank you!
