WOW, so pretty!

And I hate Four:O'Clocks. They are the bane of my garden!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

LOL, Count youe blessing Kell, your bane could be the chamber bitter I deal with 24/7.

Beautiful picture but why is it called white?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I had to look up chamber bitter, Alice. I guess I am lucky 4 O'Clocks bloom so pretty. But I hate them. LOL I am stuck for life with them.

I wondered too about why it was called white. I even googled it to make sure it came in colors.

I'm also curious as to why "white" is part of the name.

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

the white comes from the latin name for thw species=
albita which means little pake or white-
thw stems of this species are very pale whitish

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

How interesting and they certainly are beautiful. Kell, we may have to give in and try these.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Glad someone has a clue! LOL.

Well................after googling this plant and looking at the photos. I think BajaBlue's photo shows it in its best light. Not sure it is quite what we want, Alice. LOL
