Saw this phrase on the Marietta Daylily website under good "breeders." Does it mean seeds breed true?
What does POD FERTILE mean?
It means that the plant will set a pod when the flower is fertilized. In the pod seeds will form. A lot of plants are not pod fertile so it is good for hybridizers that a plant is pod fertile.
