We are moving to the cooler part of AZ in 2 weeks from SoCal and I was wondering if I can take my Canna bulbs out of the ground now to take with me. They have not bloomed yet.

i would say you can move cannas anytime through the year, unless the ground is frozen which it woulnt be now..Of course spring and fall is best but you dont have that choice.. You might not get them to flower this year however, but its better then loosing them.. Cut them down to the bulb and plant in the new location, giving them lots of water.. you could try to save the stock but chances are it will just droop anyways and the bulb already will be working hard to build more roots.. So in my option its better to just cut them and start fresh..
