We picked up about a gallon of beautiful chestnuts in N.C. and I want to roast them. I spread them in a wicker basket on the counter and each morning I find about 3 small, fat, white worms. Does this mean that they all have worms and I cannot use them? Someone suggested boiling them, but I want to roast and think that would ruin that idea.Any suggestions?
