Wanted Bread fruit seeds

They come moist in a ziplock. You would think there was something wrong. But, these seeds will not germinate if they ever dry out. Plant immediately.

Long Island, Bahamas(Zone 13a)

Interesting. Didn't think they grew from seed. Here in the Bahamas, we dig down, chop the root, and a new tree sprouts up. Thought that was the only way! How did it go? And we grow them in the sun.

I grew some from seed. I grew three. One of them was variegated...green leaves with white stripes. When they are established, they can go in full sun. When they are young new shoots, they wilt quickly in full sun. Start in the shade for a few months, then move to full sun gradually.
