Actually here in my driveway, sprouting up the cement-like gravel! I had identified it but lost the info. Does anyone recognise it? There is a purple flush on the stem and the top flower like "bud" is all actually the green leaves. It grows everywhere here.

Uh oh...I think it might be False Hellebore. :-( SHEESH! Is it just our luck or is Michigan just the best place in the world to grow poisonous, invasive plants???
Don't think i have ever seen it before not down this way anyway. dose it just grow in your gravel ??
It does, and it spreads too, so also now growing in a rather moist shady area, just the opposite of the drive.
