Driving home today I thought I spotted a pink blooming plant of wild Queen Anne's Lace in a roadside group of white. Went back to see if my eyes were playing tricks on me ..........There was a plant blooming pink! I can find nothing except white mentioned in references so far...are other colors common?
Are there pink Queen Anne's Lace ?
Eventually the pink fades to white as the flower matures, but some seem to stay a bit pink, it's more noticeable in a field of many blooms where some still have a pink tinge amidst the sea of white. I was going to take some pictures, but I found a great description of the color change, with images, online:

Coming back from a camping trip one year,I saw pink and orange blooming QAL. Maybe it had something to do w/ soil.
That is a great article Steve...thanks for posting it.
