New/First Daylily Garden is complete

Riverview, MI(Zone 6a)

I am new to the daylily world and just completed my first daylily garden using bare root daylilies that I purchased from a few different farms. The first daylilies that I planted a couple of weeks ago are already showing new growth, so I think the garden will be successful. I'm told by a friend who is a daylily expert that I may not get blooms this year from these plants, but the Iris I transplanted to the new garden bloomed yesterday. Also, to celebrate the completion of the garden and the Iris blooms, Mama Robin hatched her 3 babies yesterday. Isn't Spring wonderful. Following are the diffrerent variety of daylilies I planted.

And, I'm hoping the Porcupine Grass I planted along the fenceline will grow tall enough this year to block my neighbor's pool!

Wow, looks like alot of work going on there. Lots of joy tho in the 'payoff'.

Love the babies. Ive had a terrible hawk problem this year with the birds.

Nice selection of plants. You'll have to come and visit my garden. I am small but have a lot packed in it. I don't live to far from you.

Thanks Cindy, Mike and GardenGlory!

Cindy, I would love to come see your garden when it's in bloom. We are very close, so that would be great.
