Is this variegated Rose Of Sharon?

Grown from hybrid seed, now in its 3rd year have it growing in a pot. Is this variegation or due to poor nutrients? Only one of my other plants have it the rest have pure green leaves.

No, they just seem to do that. It might be that the leaves come out and it's too cold. It's quite common around here.

lol. Quick on the draw! Resin, have you seen this kinda discolouration on Hibiscus syriacus over there? It's kinda common around here and I thought it was because of a lack of heat.

Can't say I've ever noticed it happening, but I don't see many of them. It's all but a greenhouse plant here, the summers are too cold for it outdoors.
