It's round, it's just shallower than I need, I wanted it more for baking, it's about 1" deep. It's a Bobby Flay brand. (so embarrassing, what can I say)

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

I needed one for baking also. Those are good for steaks, but we don't have steak too often. LOL Lou

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Marcy, I added some more plants. And LOL about the ferns.

I'll go ahead and pot you some of the vines. The seeds came up in like 2 days. I have to keep some put back for a sale but whatever isn't ordered by the 12th, will be added to my list.

Please beg Dave to drive! PLEASE! You are more than welcome to stop here again. I know it adds to the trip for you but it also gives you a break and puts you back on 68 which I thought wasn't a bad drive for you?

I'm not opposed to renegotiating a meeting site for next year so long as the 'elders' from the 4 corners agree. ;) I had mentioned Cowan Lake a couple of years ago and it was shot down but I don't remember why. My 8 year old went to a sleepover party at a cabin there last weekend. They are really nice.

Columbus, OH

Ric, what kinda aroids do you have? Hmmmm ;)

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Celene I have a pretty varied bunch of Aroids now.
Mostly C.e. varieties, Alocasia and some UnK Xanthes.
Lime Zinger, Black Coral, Diamond Head, Black Magic and Runner, Mojito, possibly Stingray, Big Dipper......

Columbus, OH

Hmmm...I have other aroids, the philodendrony indoor ones. I have real skill at killing the Colocasia/Alocasia and similar over winter. Though this year I wintered over one of the black foliaged ones successfully.

Someone wanted a Plectranthus ernstii...the bonsai plectranthus, it gets kind of a caudex. Was it here?

Philo, OH(Zone 6a)

What I have:

glass flowers, glass mushrooms ( I made these today I hope they don't break in the annealer) maybe a few other glass things I don't know. plastic window boxes orange and grey. The flowers and mushrooms are different colors pink blue yellow purple red etc.

What I want

red day lilies
purple or blue siberian iris
blue flag iris (for pond)
astilbe (amythyst preferred Not white)
confederate violets
perrenial aroids that like shade
chives
allium (purple or blue)
lavender
wake robin (red trillium)
virginia bluebells
cranesbill
lily of the valley
lenten rose (dark red preferred)
soap (lilac or lavender or any old thing)

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

Shadowgarden, I have garlic chives if you are interested. They look like chives, but have a distinct garlic flavor. I cut a bunch eacvh year and chop them and store them in the freezer for all my Italian stuff. I never learned to cook with herbs and spices , so they and green onions are the only ones I use. But then, I don't cook much.LOL I can also bring red day lililes. Pretty, just no ID.

I have plenty if anyone else is interested.

I also have miniature hostas, rose campion magenta, creeping thyme, hardy hibiscus(Pink),and one rooted start of akebia vine.(Chocolate vine).

I'm looking for a not to invasive agasthe, salvia, any except purple, any elephant ears. I also have walking onions if anyone is interested. Lou

Philo, OH(Zone 6a)

Yes I'll try the garlic chives and the red day lilies would be great. I am fighting back against the deer who eat my lilies and I read that if you plant chives around them they will leave the lilies alone. Would you like a mushroom or a flower of a particular color or would you rather pick out one I bring.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

Shadowgarden, what cranesbill would you like? I have some biokovo with a light pink flower and a low growing habit. I have some bluish purple that is much taller than the biokovo, but it was here when I bought the house so I don't know what type it is.
Pat

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Rebecca we have plenty of Lily of the Valley for you and purple Siberian Iris.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Rebecca, I have this daylily that I need to divide. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/64587/

I also have an extra pot of Black Gamecock Iris that Ric gave me last year. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/33052/

Philo, OH(Zone 6a)

Yes, Yes, I will take everything. I would like the purple cranesbill more. That black gamecock is georgous! I am so excited!!

Rebecca

South Point, OH(Zone 6a)

Celene, I am interested in your aglaia odorata and Coccinia indica.
I can give you something I bought as golden majoram, and I find it is also called Gold Crisp oregano. I also have a dwarf Lady's Mantle which I can probably divide.

I am potting up stuff as I prune and thiin in the gardens. I seem to have a lot of the stuff Dispatcher already mentioned. Plus:

Lots of Tri-color Variegata ornamental hot pepper seedlings - Celene, Chele
Bleeding Heart Dicentra formosa - Rebecca, Lou
Hardy begonia - Chele
Black mondo grass - Marcy, Chele
Green mondo grass

Columbus, OH

I'd happily trade for some dwarf lady's mantle and a tricolor pepper.

The coccinias are sprouted, and hardening off outside. I can't wait to make oil pickle, in that "counting my chickens before they are hatched" kind of way.

New Madison, OH(Zone 5a)

Esther...I would love some black mondo grass! What can i bring you?
I have about everything there is i think...lol! Except contorted hazel...lol.@ Chele!
I have this chimney tower/pot planted with blood grass...and want to put black mondo around it...saw this in a magazine ...or somewhere...and really liked it.
Rebecca...I have one hardy geranium that will spread like crazy....if thats what you are interested in...and it loves the shade too. It has pink flowers....dont know the name of it.

Philo, OH(Zone 6a)

Marcy yes that sounds good. Esther I would like some bleeding heart. Thanks.

Rebecca

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Good to see you Esther! Are you getting my emails?

I'm interested in:
Tri-color Variegata ornamental hot pepper
Hardy begonia
Black mondo grass

Do I have anything you need? Was it you that was looking for Oakleaf Hydrangea a year or so ago?

South Point, OH(Zone 6a)

Ok, I am making a note of the requests and will be editing my list above. Marcy, you wouldn't happen to have any Pulsatilla (also Pasque Flower, Anemone pulsatilla) do you? I seem to have lost an old plant and 2 new 2011 purchases.

Chele, when did you email me? Last time was August 2011 - I just checked the gmail address (which I hardly ever use). I was looking for a "Little Honey" hydrangea last year. I can probably dig up volunteer trees and make cuttings of various shrubs for you just before the RU.

I can bring contorted hazel cuttings if anyone wants to try starting them. I have failed to make new plants after trying for many years.

This message was edited May 15, 2012 9:04 PM

New Madison, OH(Zone 5a)

Ok..after making the statement I have about everything...lol...no..Esther...I don't have pasque flower...im sorry!!
Name something else!!

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Just found some King's Spear we can divide .... Asphodeline lutea.... maybe 3 plants is all we have this year.

http://www.robsplants.com/plants/AsphoLutea

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

We have 8 Colocasia 'Diamond Head' to trade.
It's the second blackest Aroid out there. Actually have electric blue veins in the right light.
It gets HUGE w/ the right conditions and overwinters dormant quite well.
'Black Coral' is the deepest black but it's just not pupping at this point.
