I am thrilled. I cannot wait to plant one. The only thing missing from my yard now is a hedychium. :)

I hope everyone's well. I haven't been able to get in here like I used to. :)

Joe,

I'm not 'here' too often either...so happy to see a post from you! Are you looking for a butterfly ginger? I can probably 'help' you with that...

I have baaaad morning fingers, yeesh.

I wanted to type "I got two divisions from a friend last summer, and one BLOOMED!" It came out as "I gpt twp divisips ...." :)

Anyways, how's you? I hope you're busy in a good way. :)

Back to hedychiums, one bloomed last autumn, and the fragrance was delightful! Now I want a plumeria. :)

At one time I had 6-7 plummies but I have to tell you that in our zones you've got to provide a warm sunny area for them during our cold months. I was guilty if letting go semi- dormant and was lucky if ONE of them bloomed every other year. I'm down to two right now - I've kept them growing thru out our winter and one has sent up a bloom cluster. I'll be thrilled if it stays viable till blooming!! You should be Anke to p/u one fairly cheap. If you wait till fall when many of the DGers prune theirs you can get cuttings for postage. They're fairly easy to root with bottom heat.
