I just went out to prune some ratty leaves from some strawberries that I just divided, and saw what I KNEW was spider mite damage. Sure enough- on the underside of the leaves were several fat and happy mites doing their thing. These guys must have overwintered in the plants-incredible. It sounds like we are in for a battle- I always have a terrible time with mites on my pole beans every year.
I couldn't believe it-Spider Mites already!
