Built kitchen & bath cabinets for these people. They also wanted a kitchen cart. This is what I came up with. Top has 2 of the floor tiles used in the kitchen. Anything coming out of the oven can be set on it.
Wood is ¼ sawn oak. Drawers are made of ½" birch plywood running on soft close slides.
Corner posts are made so ¼ sawn shows on all four sides. I figured out how to do it from a Stickly flower stand I have in my house.
People are very happy with it.
