While visiting a garden I came across the shrub. The shrub is about 6 feet tall.
The owner of the garden would also like to know the name of the plant.
Can anybody help?

Hi there, from your picture and brief description ,i would assume it may be a Cherimoya (Annona cherimola).

I see why it looks like an Annona, but I think it is an alder [Alnus].
I'm sure if it is Annona.. The fruit seems to be Annona but take a look at the leaves..

I'm pretty sure it's a noni plant, morinda citrifolia. The leaves and fruit look very similar.
