using tile carpet pieces to cover home floors....

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with these somewhat new carpeting tiles that are being marketed these days. I know that both Lowe's and Home Depot sell them, but I am interesting in hearing from folks who have actually used them or know of neighbors or family who have gone this direction and see what the home owners are saying in terms of their being satisfied or not.

My husband has brought up the idea of the tiles being more proned to showing seams and coming loose versus the standard carpeting which comes in 12 ft. wide rolls.
